As the highest head of the executive branch of the state of Louisiana, Liz Murrill will be taking Governor-elect Jeff Landry’s position as Attorney General. Murrill has beaten out the Democratic candidate Lindsey Cheek by a 66.4% - 33.6% victory and with her job currently working at the Attorney General’s office, she will have an easy transition into the new position.
